Individual Therapy
Mental health therapy is an effective treatment tool to help individuals manage emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. During our telehealth sessions together, we will have the opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in order to gain insights, develop or enhance coping strategies, and address issues impacting your well-being. Therapy is a confidential and non-judgmental process that promotes helping individuals lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Therapy sessions typically last 55 minutes and are held over a secure HIPAA compliant platform. You can log into sessions from the comfort of a location and device of your choosing.
Don’t have time to take off work to attend therapy, convenient evening hours are available, as well as lunch hour appointments.
BENEFITS
Life Transitions
Life transitions such as starting a new job, moving, ending a relationship, becoming a parent, or retiring can bring about significant emotional and mental stress. Even positive changes can lead to uncertainty, anxiety and overwhelming feels.
Let’s work together to process emotions, develop coping strategies, clarify goals and priorities, reduce anxiety and uncertainty, improve decision making, build confidence, and strengthen relationships.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Mental health therapy can be beneficial for individuals with ADHD, helping to manage the core symptoms of inattention, impulsivity, overthinking, and hyperactivity, as well as the emotional and social challenges that often accompany the disorder.
Working together we address issues to help improve your overall quality of life by learning techniques to assist with inattention and distractibility while improving executive function skills, reducing anxiety and depression, improving emotional regulation, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and building self-esteem and self-acceptance.
Caretaker Responsibilities
Mental health therapy can be incredibly valuable for caregivers, as the demands of caregiving can often lead to stress, burnout, emotional exhaustion, and mental health challenges. Therapy can help caregivers manage these difficulties, build coping skills and maintain their well-being while providing care for others.
Therapy can provide caregivers with techniques to manage the high levels of stress, offer strategies for restoring energy and emotional balance to head off issues of burnout, and offer a non-judgmental space where caregivers can express their emotions, process difficult feelings, and feel validated in their experiences.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Therapy services are tailored to the unique needs and strengths with each individual on the spectrum, helping you to navigate everyday life with confidence and improved well-being.
We can work together to understand often confusing social cues to improve building and maintaining friendships along with handling group dynamics or public settings. Let’s find ways to enhance emotional regulation, build communication skills, develop life skills, address sensory sensitivity issues, provide support for life transitions, and improve self-esteem.
Anxiety
Therapy can be highly effective in treating anxiety by providing structured tools and techniques to help individuals manage and reduce anxiety symptoms.
Anxiety does not have to continue to limit your activities, who you interact with, or your ability to enjoy life. We can work together to identify triggers, address root causes, build confidence, and learn how to effectively challenge and reframe irrational or negative thought patterns that fuel anxiety. If social situations are difficult for you we will work to improve communication skills, gain a better understanding of social cues, and work through social scenarios in a safe nurturing environment.
Self Esteem
Through therapy individuals can develop a more positive self-image and increase their confidence in social, personal, and professional situations. Improved self-esteem leads to healthier and more balanced relationships, as individuals are less likely to seek validation from other and more likely to communicate effectively. By improving self-esteem individuals may experience a reduction in anxiety and depression symptoms that are often linked to self-esteem issues.
Let’s work together to identify and cultivate personal strengths, achievements, and core values on your journey to developing a more positive self-concept. We will tackle issues together of indecisiveness and fear of making mistakes while building confidence in your own judgement and decision making abilities. Do you find situations where setting healthy boundaries or saying “no” are difficult for you? We can develop the confidence and communication skills needed to assert yourself and establish healthy interpersonal boundaries.
